Welcome Message

The Bahamas consists of over 700 islands, uninhabited cays and large rocks covering just 5,382 square miles of land, scattered like precious jewels over 1,500 square miles of clear tropical sea at the top of the Caribbean.

Formed mainly of flat coral, with just a few gently rounded hills, the highest point in the entire archipelago is just 206 ft In The Bahamas you can find just about every water-based activity imaginable – the oceans around the islands are crystal clear, azure blue oceans that are perfect for diving, the 3 rd largest barrier reef system in the world, snorkelling, swimming with dolphins, manta rays and huge shoals of fish, sailing or kayaking through mangroves and of course relaxing on some of the world’s most beautiful beaches.

The Bahamas - especially Nassau, Freeport and Paradise Island - offer everything from eco-tourism adventures and parasailing to casino gaming and top-notch shopping; the character of each of the 16 main islands is as individual as the 300,000 people who live there.
